Are you curious in nature, love research and writing, and have excellent attention to detail? Join our Due Diligence team as a Technical Content Specialist! In this role, you’ll help our customer support teams provide clear, accurate answers to technical and security questions.


More than 23,000 banks, financial services firms, and other highly regulated organizations depend on Global Relay to provide critical archiving and compliance services. These organizations must comply with strict outsourcing and vendor management requirements. They also expect their service providers to meet the highest standards of security, availability, and performance. Our Due Diligence team ensures customer confidence and trust in Global Relay by providing customized responses to due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), security assessments, requests for proposals (RFPs), and other customer requests for information. The Due Diligence Team also helps other customer support teams respond to technical and security questions.


As a Technical Content Specialist, you’ll provide research and writing support to the Due Diligence team. This is a unique role that helps bridge the gap between our technical and frontline support teams by translating technical information into plain language. You’ll interview internal subject matter experts (SMEs), conduct independent research, and write polished, concise responses to complex customer questions.

Your Job:


  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of Global Relay technology, services, and operations
  • Work with developers, systems administrators, security staff, product managers, and other technical teams to develop and fact check content
  • Conduct independent research into technical and security concepts
  • Translate technical information into concise, plain language content
  • Develop and manage content for a knowledge base
  • Assist with due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and other requests for information
  • Assist customer support teams with ad hoc customer requests
  • Assist with research, writing, and fact checking for technical documentation

About You:


  • Education or work experience in computer science, information technology, software development, or related discipline
  • Independent worker with the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal or no supervision
  • Ability to work with and influence all levels of staff - including executives and senior subject matter experts - without direct authority
  • High level of comfort in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Ability to independently research and quickly understand unfamiliar technical concepts
  • Close attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
  • Strong judgement and ability to analyze and handle complex situations
  • Even tempered and calm under pressure
  • Flexibility to take on new assignments and responsibilities as needed
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into plain language
