Your Role:

We are looking for a technically-orientated, commercially-minded Business Analyst to join our London Product Management team. The Technical Business Analyst will take strategic business initiatives from the Strategy team and produce comprehensive business cases that will provide direction to our Product Groups.


The role will encompass market analysis, shaping business requirements, conducting research and analysis of complex systems and compile findings into formats stakeholders can use. This role will interface with Product Management and the senior leadership team to ensure our solutions are aligned with market needs and the company’s vision.


Your Job:


  • Developing a deep understanding of the business problem or initiative, design, and architecture of our platform and hosted services
  • Working with senior stakeholders to clarify the vision, business value, and technical goals relating to assigned initiatives
  • Gathering and analyzing product, financial, and operational data to validate the initiative and accelerate decision making processes
  • Using research methods, producing and documenting the market and competitor landscape; showing market share, feature comparisons, and product gaps to identify and recommend future product enhancements and development
  • Documenting requirements using various tools (gap analysis, user journeys, wireframes, use case and workflow modelling, conceptual domain modelling, etc.)
  • Translating business requirements into technical artefacts and presenting and communicating findings to various technical and business stakeholders
  • Identifying key cross service dependencies relevant to the initiative using methods such as a systems impact analysis
  • Identifying key business and technical risks relevant to the initiative with recommendations for mitigation
  • Supporting product management, architects, engineering, UI/UX, and other teams throughout the design and execution phases and help ensure consistent alignment of initiatives with the company vision and strategy

About You:


  • 5+ years as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role within an enterprise software vendor
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics or other related technical field(s)
  • Ability to confidently communicate at all levels of the organization, both commercial and technical
  • Strong research requirements analysis, modelling, documentation and presentation skills
  • Resourceful, logical and well organized with strong time management skills
  • Experience with domain modelling and object-oriented analysis & design (OOAD)
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
  • Experience with enterprise grade SaaS solutions
  • Project management qualifications such as: (PRINCE2, PMP, PMI), is an asset
